I’m a music director, keyboardist, educator, and arts leader based in Champaign-Urbana.

I’ve worked in theatre and music for nearly two decades. My work has included professional, educational, and community-based productions, along with concerts, cabarets, recording projects, and other creative endeavors throughout the country.

I came to this work first as a performer and then as an educator, and that is still how I approach it. I value powerful storytelling, preparation, clear communication, and a rehearsal environment that empowers performers to make strong choices and ask questions.

Outside of the arts, my work has focused on fundraising, communications, and organizational strategy. I currently work in higher ed advancement at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and in 2025, I co-founded the Theatre and Music Society, which creates opportunities for artists to stay engaged in the performing arts even when life gets busy.

I hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Illinois in music education and musicology. Outside of work, I enjoy baking bread, photography, and puppets.
