Kvn and I played Krannert Center’s “Krannert Uncorked'“ series last week, and used it as an opportunity to try out a bunch of new songs that would have been more difficult to jump into with a full band, many of which we’ll be doing at our August 9 gig. We also revisited some old favorites we’ve done over the past couple of years, including Autumn Leaves. This was the first time I had played it without a rhythm section, and it was a little intimidating. Jazz is not my forte, and I was nervous about my solo section especially, but I’m really proud of how it turned out. You can check out more clips from this performance here.
